LexiGrasp Support

Help with scanning, OCR, editing, exports, App Lock, and LexiGrasp Pro.

Protect your documents. Never email a passport, ID card, payment card, medical record, tax file, confidential document, signature, or biometric information. A description and redacted screenshot are normally enough.

Contact support

Email support@lexigrasp.site. Include the LexiGrasp version and build number, iOS version, iPhone model, feature used, steps that caused the issue, expected result, and any exact error message. Redact personal information from screenshots.

Scanning and importing

The camera does not open

  1. Open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera.
  2. Enable access for LexiGrasp.
  3. Close and reopen LexiGrasp.
  4. On Simulator, use Import because physical document capture requires a real camera.

An import is unavailable

Confirm the item has downloaded from iCloud or its file provider, has a supported image/PDF format, and is not protected by another app. Try saving a copy locally in Files first.

Edges or text are wrong

Use even lighting, avoid glare, keep the full page visible, hold the camera parallel to the page, and increase contrast. Crop manually and verify every OCR, MRZ, contact, or receipt field against the original.

Documents, exports, and storage

Where are scans stored?

LexiGrasp stores its working library in the App's private local container. A file is outside LexiGrasp only after you export or share it. The App does not provide a developer cloud backup.

Before deleting LexiGrasp

Export important documents to Files or another destination first. Deleting the App can permanently remove its local library, signatures, stamps, and preferences.

Conversion changed the layout

OCR-based DOCX/XLSX export reconstructs content and may not reproduce a source PDF exactly. Keep the original, review the output, and correct important tables, names, totals, and formatting.

App Lock

App Lock requires Face ID, Touch ID, or a device passcode configured in iOS. LexiGrasp receives only the authentication result. If authentication is unavailable, verify device security settings and restart the App. App Lock does not recover a lost device or replace secure backups.

LexiGrasp Pro and billing

Restore access

Open LexiGrasp → Account → Restore Purchases while signed into the Apple Account used for purchase. Keep an internet connection while StoreKit refreshes the entitlement.

Cancel or change a subscription

Open LexiGrasp → Account → Manage Subscription, or use Apple's subscription management page. Deleting LexiGrasp does not cancel billing.

Request a refund

Apple controls App Store billing and refunds. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and follow Apple's instructions. We cannot issue an Apple transaction refund directly.

Privacy and deletion

Read our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion Guide. LexiGrasp has no developer account system, so there is no LexiGrasp account to close. We cannot remotely retrieve or erase documents stored only on your iPhone.
